Our approach:
The Resourced Leader method
The Resourced Leader Method is a transformative coaching journey designed to help queer leaders thrive by aligning their values, vision, and actions. Through six dynamic phases, this program provides a supportive and affirming space to build trust, explore values, craft a vision, and take bold, intentional steps toward your goals—all while navigating the unique challenges of leadership.
Why it works
We aren't about pushing you into a pre-defined mold of success. Instead, we help you (re) connect with your inner knowing and uncover your authentic goals, empowering you to lead with clarity, confidence, and courage. This program is for queer leaders ready to embrace their power, navigate challenges with resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Why it's different
This method is built on the foundational principle that queer leaders experience the world of work differently: we bring unique needs, experiences, and strengths to our leadership roles, and we often face systemic barriers and internalized pressures that can dilute our connection to purpose and authenticity. Too often, we’ve learned to define success through metrics that don’t honor us or connect with what we value, leading to burnout, disillusionment (“does my work even matter?”), and a lack of confidence in our leadership capacity.
Is it for you?
The Resourced Leader Method is for you if you’ve ever asked yourself the following questions:
-
I’ve spent my career as a high achiever and I’m successful by many of the standards of my field. But what is my vision for success?
-
How can I heal from hustle culture while still building a thriving career?
-
I’ve never received formal management training, but now I supervise a whole team. What does anti-oppressive management even look like? How can I avoid recreating patterns of harm?
Hi, I'm Kate
I'm a coach, facilitator, mediator, and conflict transformation guide. I'm also white, queer, live in a communally owned home in Chicago, love my dog, and am committed to ongoing learning and unlearning so I can be a true accomplice and justice worker in my communities. For the last decade, I've worked with individuals and teams who want to align their values of justice, community, and care with their individual actions and institutional cultures. What that means in practice is that I support people through coaching, mediation, and transformative justice practices before, during, and after harm/conflict occurs. I believe that when we can connect with ourselves and one another deeply and authentically, we can create the relationships and cultures that feed us all.
